Little White Lies by Jennifer Lyn Barnes

I haven’t posted in ages because everything’s just been pretty crazy, but I am going to try to get back into writing reviews 🙂

Today I am going to review Little White Lies by Jennifer Lyn Barnes. I am obsessed with this book right now! It is perfect for everyone 13/14+, particularly fans of the Inheritance Games, which is also written by the same author. It is the perfect blend of mystery and excitement, with a heap of plots, a ton of cover-ups, a sprinkle of family drama, and everything in between.

18-year-old sharp-witted Sawyer’s life is transformed when her incredibly wealthy, high-society grandmother, whom she had never met before in her life, swoops into her life with a deal to propose. In exchange for her participation in the debutant season, her grandmother will give her a share of the family fortune. Skeptically, Sawyer agrees, in the hopes of finding her father in this strange world that is high society, and besides, who doesn’t want $500,000? Once she moves into her grandmother’s house and begins to unravel the mystery, she discovers that the secret of her father might not be the only secret buried by her family over the years.
